Thank you for applying to the Shiny Fuzzy Muddy Show. This year will are hosting our 15th annual show and sale and we are already planning for a busy and successful show. SFM has become known as one of the best curated art, craft and design shows in the city and we strive every year to have a fresh, relevant, professional and amazing show. Please fill out the short application form by March 31st. We will contact you if your application is successful after April 30th.

Show Details
Location: Heritage Hall (3102 Main Street, Vancouver, BC)
Dates: December 9 – 10, 2017
Hours: Saturday 11am–7pm, Sunday 10am–6pm


Please note that in order to participate in SFM:

  • You as the artist/maker MUST be present at the show with your work for the COMPLETE duration of the show.
  • You cannot be showing elsewhere in the Lower Mainland the weekend of SFM.
    You cannot close or teardown early as it impacts other vendors and the professionalism of the show.
  • You must arrive for set up at least 2 hrs prior to show opening, if not your booth space may be forfeited without notification or refund.
  • You cannot share booths with another artist.
  • No Sales or Clearance items are permitted.
  • SFM reserves the right to use all submitted images and content for event promotion.
  • You agree to advertise and promote SFM across all your social media platforms leading up to the show.

Application Type

Professional Artist: (Full-time practicing artist for 3 or more years) or

The Emerging Artist Scholarship: This is awarded to one recipient each year. SFM will waive the booth fee to help support and encourage an emerging artist. They must be within their first 3 years of business and show strong professional and creative initiative. They will receive a SMALL (35sqft.) booth.

* Only one application type is accepted per artist.

Please provide a short 250-300 word reason for why you should be considered for the scholarship. (Emerging Artist Scholarship Applicants Only)


Booth Fee (for 2 days)

Please select your ideal booth size. Please note it is not guaranteed that you will receive your first pick but we do our best to accommodate everyone and we will reach out to you if there is a problem with your booth size request.

  • Full Booth fees will be paid upon acceptance via e-transfer.
  • Cancellations: if cancellation occurs before Sept 1st, 2017 50% of booth fee will be refunded. After Sept 1st, 2017 all fees are 100% non-refundable.
  • Large booths are limited and are up to organizer's discretion.

Display notes/FAQs

  • SFM is an open concept show, without pipe and drape backdrops.
  • Overhead lighting is limited in certain areas of the hall but there are ample outlets for your own display lighting. We encourage all vendors to have lots of lights.
  • Clothing vendors may wish to bring their own pop up fitting room, or allow customers to use the washrooms for trying on, please consider when choosing booth size choice.

Show Us Your Stuff
Please send us up to 3 images of your current work and/or work that you intend on showing at SFM and 1-2 images of your booth display (packaged in a .zip file, maximum size 10mb). Please note artists are only permitted to sell/show work they are approved to sell.
