Heather Dahl started dahlhaus as a way to bring together her painting and ceramic interests under one roof. Her artwork- whether it be ceramics or painting, has been exhibited and sold through galleries and retailers all over North America. Her work has been sold through large retailers like Anthropologie and Nordstrom, but is most commonly found in smaller independent shops and galleries. Her work has graced the pages of magazines such as Bon Appétit Magazine, Canadian House & Home Magazine, Style at Home, InStyle, Atomic Ranch, Studio Magazine, and more.

My work is a reflection of my interest in colour, pattern and line with influences from abstract painting, to Mid-century Modern textile, to folk-art tapestries, to aerial views of landscapes, my garden, food and more. I appreciate simple classic forms that function well in the home, but also love to experiment with pattern and colour along the way. I love process and am inspired by the many processes working in clay has to offer- hand-building, wheel-throwing, slip-casting, glazing and more. I'm constantly curious about the work I'll be making in the future, which leads in new directions in the studio every day.
