Red Pot Pottery
After 11 year of teachings fine art, I embarked on my life-long desire to become a potter in 1998. I openly embraced aesthetic and artistic touch with the professional experience I have acquired over time. No two pieces of my pottery will ever be alike, each piece is a singular and original piece to be enjoyed. The final product is pottery that is unique, beautiful and functional and aesthetically pleasing. I am also an active member in BC pottery association and have received Fraser Valley Potters Merit Certificate in 2011 and 2012. Moreover, I have participated in Semiahmoo Potter’s Guild Association since 2007 and Fraser Valley Potter’s Guild Association since 2010. My most current and successful show were Circle Craft, Calgary Art Market Craft Sale, Edmonton Butterdome Craft Sale and Victoria Out of Hand.
I use both the wheel and hands to make my work. My work explores the beauty of the nature, color and form. I meticulously carve hundreds of little white flowers and leaves to create simple yet a detailed piece. I don't use any stencil nor stamp to create my pottery so all of my work is unique and one of the kind.
