Red Pot Pottery
After 11 year of teachings fine art, I embarked on my life-long desire to become a potter in 1998. I openly embraced aesthetic and artistic touch with the professional experience I have acquired over time.
No two pieces of my pottery will ever be alike, each piece is a singular and original piece to be enjoyed. The final product is pottery that is unique, beautiful and functional and aesthetically pleasing.
ARTIST STATEMENT
There are 29 steps involved in making my potteries. I use both the wheel and hands to make my work. My work explores the beauty of the nature, color and form. I meticulously carve hundreds of little flowers and leaves to create simple yet a detailed piece. I don’t use any stencil nor stamp to create my pottery so all of my work is unique and one of the kind.
