We are Stories
Founded by Tracy Fillion, We are Stories is a textile & clothing line based out of her home studio in a 5 acre forest. Continually inspired by nature, she pursues her work with appreciation of the surrounding environment. With a focus on natural dyeing and eco printing using sustainable fibres, Yracy creates one of a kind textiles using botanicals, plant matterfood wastes and minerals. These pieces are transformed into wearable garments with thoughtful intention, each piece carrying their own story.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I strive to create work that is purely functional and utilitarian yet light and beautiful. I want to provoke a thoughtfulness about our environment and how precious and delicate it is. My hope is the wearer can experience nature in a different capacity and awareness with my plant dyed pieces.
